Amazing Type 1 Teen Talks Diabetes To Congress

This teen is amazing and is taking diabetes awareness into his own hands. Type 1 Jack Schmeittlein was JDRF’s 2011 Children’s Congress delegate out of 150 kids across the country. He had the opportunity to head to Washington D.C. and speak to congress about the importance of funding for diabetes research and raising awareness of the artificial pancreas.
