Who doesn’t love a good cover band? Throw in a cover band trying to raise awareness for an excellent cause, and I’m sold!!

The following concert is from the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure, a series of cycling events held around the country to raise funds, awareness, and spirits. With the mission of preventing and curing diabetes, communities participate in a bike race, followed by a community celebration featuring live music!

The following video features cover band, Fellowcraft. In it, the band’s drummer, Brian Nelson-Palmer, tells the truth about being having diabetes during the band’s performance of the Rolling Stones classic, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” A Type I diabetic himself, Nelson-Palmer jokes about having a bad day when his blood sugar won’t balance and he cant figure out why.

Watch the full video to see how this draws cheers from other people with diabetes who are in the audience.
