It’s finally here! The most wonderful time of the year! It can also be a very stressful time of year. Between decorating, shopping, wrapping, planning, and cooking, you’ve likely got an extremely busy schedule. During these times, it’s easy to let you diabetes management plan fall by the wayside.

And it’s easy to see why. In addition to the treats that seem to be ever-present, the time constraints and cold weather can leave you reaching for easy-to-make (or pick up) comfort food that’s less than healthy. And while allowing yourself to indulge in the things you really love over the holidays (for me, it’s my grandmother’s fudge) is important, so is moderation.
