If you have diabetes, you’ve likely been told repeatedly how important it is to follow a healthy diet. But what does that mean? Do you need to sign up for an expensive meal delivery service, or purchase one of the many diabetes “miracle cures” that are being advertised?
Instead, it just means you should follow the same healthy, well-balanced diet recommended to everyone. Get lots of veggies, fruits, lean meat, healthy fats, and whole grains. Indulgences are still (mostly) okay, but moderation is essential.
And while that might sound simple, in theory, it can sometimes be a little harder to consistently prepare healthy meals without getting bored. And if you’re relying upon salads to get a healthy portion of raw vegetables, you might find yourself getting bored.
