Diabetes Wireless Artificual Pancreas Consortium (DREAM)

Imagine the day where life with diabetes won’t consist of insulin shots, blood sugar level monitoring, counting carbs, and switching out your insulin pump. This day is one step closer for a group of kids in Israel, Slovenia, and Germany. These Type 1 kids participated in a trial project with the Diabetes wiREless Artificial pancreas consortiuM (DREAM) to evaluate the MD-Logic Artificial Pancreas (MDLAP) system.

Watch this project as it’s taken outside of the hospital and into a diabetes camp. It illustrates a “normal” life for children with diabetes while using the automatic insulin delivery system. We’re one step closer to finding a cure!
