At 25, Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler, started losing a significant amount of weight. It was in the middle of the NFL season, and he was displaying signs of type 1 diabetes. After his diagnosis, he struggled with finding the balance between managing his new condition and keeping up his job of being a professional athlete.

Now, having had some time to adjust to his diagnosis, he shows his competitive spirit as he urges viewers to try to make the best of it, and to not feel sorry for yourself.
