It’s officially the holiday season, and children and adults alike are making their wish lists. Some people are subtly hinting at the things they’d like to find under the tree on Christmas morning, while others are bluntly letting their loved ones know what will make their holiday special. Maybe you’re more preoccupied with the gifts you still haven’t gotten, or are reading this while waiting in line to make your final holiday purchases.
With all of the gift giving and receiving, the cooking, and the stress, the spirit of the season is easy to lose sight of. Well, not if the JDRF has anything to say about it.
This year the organization is hosting their 24th Annual Gingerbread Village in Seattle, Washington. The event is free to the public, and all donations go to raising funds for type 1 diabetes research!
