Go, Slow, And Whoa : Diabetes CATCH Program
Today 70% of children are prone or have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. In the past, Type 2 was seen in people who were 55 years and above, but now we see it in people as early as 40 and even in adolescents. This has become a widespread health crisis especially in low-income communities that need more access to healthier foods and activities.
Watch as this Texas school district inherited the CATCH (Coordinated Approach To Child Health) that promotes the education of eating and living healthy within schools and carries into the home. Knowledge is POWER!
