Diabetic Danica is taking us overseas to meet Don, a 10-year diabetic from South Africa. Don unfortunately has been living with a different type of diabetes that has made it difficult for his doctors and endocrinologists to help him maintain his blood sugar levels. He has been told that an insulin pump may do him wonders, but it’s not as easy to get funding in S. Africa as it is in the U.S.

Watch as Danica and Don explain the differences in health care for diabetes patients between the U.S. and S. Africa and how we can help Don and fellow South Africans prove the importance of insulin pumps around the world. We’re all in this together!
