As most of are aware, there are a lot of things that affect our blog sugar levels. While non-diabetics who don’t know much about the the condition are inclined to think the bulk of disease management lies in not consuming foods and beverages that are high in sugar or carbohydrates, there’s actually a lot more to be considered. Especially around the holidays.
While this season is full of joy and tradition, it can also incredibly busy, translating to not only more stress, which can affect levels, but also leaving less time for self care. Further, between holiday gatherings, potlucks, and work functions, there’s a lot of opportunity to splurge on food and beverages that we know are less than great for our health.
