Thanksgiving Recipe: Lean Mean Green Bean Casserole

It’s a crowd pleaser (and a personal favorite) but we know it’s not very healthy. And if you have diabetes, it’s definitely not great for keeping your blood sugar levels in check. But what if we told you we have a healthier alternative to this all-time favorite that still gives you the same delicious flavors, and maybe more!?

In the video below, Kerry and Steven gives us a healthy take on this Thanksgiving classic with their Lean Mean Green Bean Casserole. Using fresh veggies, olive oil, low-sodium chicken stock and a pinch of salt for seasoning, this recipe is low-fat, low-sodium, and diabetes-friendly!
