Making A Change To Control Diabetes

When Angela Myles was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes it was a definite wake up call to make a change in her diet. However, what she found was as she lost weight, she’d gain the weight back just as easy and sometimes more. That’s when she found assistance in a nutritionist.

Watch how a diabetes class introduced Angela to a nutritionist who put her on a diet of 1200 calories a day and daily exercise. A very difficult feat, it eventually became easier and Angela began to see changes, making her the only patient of her doctor’s to ever be taken off of diabetes medication after diagnosis. Way to go Angela!
