Now, Pollak is not only an advocate for diabetes, she works for a company that develops technologies for those with diabetes.
Kim Vlasnik was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 1986. It wasn’t until 2010, however, that she began sharing her diabetes experience with the public. On her blog, Texting My Pancreas, Vlasnik discusses the good(s) and bad(s) of diabetes, but she also doesn’t shy away from the awkward. In the past few years, she’s started sharing stories and photographs of her growing family, and we’ve gotta say: they’re pretty adorable!
