I have a major sweet tooth. And while I typically do a pretty good job of sticking to a well-balanced diet, if I start craving something sweet, it’s hard to think about little else until I’ve indulged… even if just only a little. And if it’s a special occasion like a holiday? It’s just that much harder for me to resist!
That being said, I constantly find myself searching for some diabetes-friendly sweet treats that will allow me to indulge my sweet tooth (in moderation, of course), without also sending my numbers soaring through the roof. So, when I found this recipe from dLife’s Chef Michel Nischan for a sugar-free cheesecake I was over the moon!
This recipe is so yummy, I felt comfortable baking it, knowing I wouldn’t be the only one in my house who would love it! Plus, here’s a secert you don’t have to share with anyone who tries it: it’s super easy to make!
One slice of this yummy cheesecake has only 8 carbs! Which means I can satiate my craving for something sweet without sending my numbers through the roof!
Take a look at the recipe in the video below, and if you try it, don’t forget to let us know what you think!
