Thanksgiving Recipe: Diabetes-Friendly Chocolate Pecan Pie

It’s not quite Thanksgiving yet but we’re betting you’re busy prepping and planning some delicious dishes for your family’s feast. For some of you, there might be some special dietary restrictions to consider, including accounting for the person or people in your life who have diabetes.

Whether you have diabetes, or have a friend or family member who will be joining in your holiday festivities who suffers from the condition, no one wants to deny themselves sweet treats on holidays. Unfortunately, diabetes doesn’t take a day off on holidays, and while a little indulgence (plus moderation) is acceptable, it’s important to continue to be mindful of those splurges so managements plans are maintained.
