The Madi Rogers 24-Hour Cold Water Challenge

Last week, people all over Grundy County Tennessee dove into ice-cold water to help raise money to get a service dog for Madi Rogers, a toddler who suffers from type 1 diabetes-related seizures. Madi is just shy of two years old and a bit too young to keep track of her levels; service dogs are great at detecting when a person’s blood-sugar is low, but the Rogers family wasn’t able to afford the $18,000 pup on their own. Thankfully, Grundy’s generous community stepped in to pledge and plunge and get Madi the help she needs.
