A literal walking movement, this is Erik Bendl’s fifth time traveling by foot from Seattle to San Francisco to raise diabetes awareness and the importance of staying active. Erik has not been diagnosed with diabetes, yet, but has watched many family members who’ve lost their lives from it. As he covers over 5,000 miles, speed is not his motive awareness is.

Watch as Erik walks 10 miles a day and covers 36 different states, taking the opportunity to educate bystanders and making it a point to take responsibility to walk away from diabetes!
