What Does JDRF Mean To You?The Diabetes Site
Juvenile diabetes is no longer considered a condition found in only children. Now considered Type 1 diabetes, eventually these children diagnosed with diabetes become adults, or are even diagnosed as adults. Today about 85% of adults are living with type 1 diabetes.
Watch as these kids and adults tell us how long they’ve had diabetes and the struggles that have come with it. They give thanks to JDRF for all the opportunities it has given them to manage their diabetes, educate others about diabetes, and fight for the funding to continue research to someday find a cure. JDRF allows type 1 diabetics to live long, healthy, loving lives!
