If you have diabetes, you know that being prepared is essential. The truth is, you never know when an unexpected high or low might hit, requiring treatment. Further, you can’t always anticipate last minute changes in your day, so having your supplies with you is a must.
For most people with diabetes, it’s not uncommon to have a designated diabetes bag that they use to carry their supplies, so they always have them on hand when they find they need them. The same goes for the caretakers of people with diabetes.

There are some items every parent should keep on hand, even though the hope is that they’ll never have to use them, but you might actually be surprised by some of the things in their bag, and you might even get some tips for things you should add to your own!
